How SchemaDesk collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use our website and product.

Last updated: September 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SchemaDesk ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website or use our product. By using SchemaDesk, you agree to this policy.

Who we are

SchemaDesk is a workspace-scoped CRM and operations platform. We provide tools for modeling objects, fields, records, views, and related workflows. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@schemadesk.net.

Information we collect

We collect information in these categories:

  • Account information, such as name, email address, and authentication details when you sign up or sign in.
  • Workspace and product data you choose to store in SchemaDesk, including objects, fields, records, views, members, and related configuration.
  • Usage and technical data, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and approximate timestamps of activity.
  • Communications you send us, such as support emails or feedback.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the SchemaDesk website and application.
  • Authenticate users, maintain sessions, and keep workspaces secure.
  • Send transactional messages such as email verification, password reset, and service notices.
  • Diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate about product updates when appropriate.

Workspace data

Customer records and configuration live inside workspaces. Workspace data is scoped to that workspace and accessed according to membership and permissions. We do not treat your CRM records as a public directory, and we do not sell personal data.

When we share information

We may share information with service providers who help us run the product (for example hosting, email delivery, or infrastructure). Those providers are only allowed to process data for the services we ask them to perform.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights or safety of SchemaDesk or our users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets where customer information transfers as part of the business.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions such as authentication and session management. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

Retention

We keep account and workspace data for as long as your account or workspace remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward if needed for backups, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or security. You can request deletion of account data by contacting us.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections in production and access controls around workspace data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email support@schemadesk.net. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Children

SchemaDesk is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of SchemaDesk after an update means you accept the revised policy.
